I am a 15 year old girl who grew up in a republican household. I believe that every life matters whether they are 16 years old, 40 years old, or in the first trimester of pregnancy. I also believe that there can be exceptions to the rules of abortion that are not answered by the political parties. I also feel strongly about egalitarianism, or the belief that every person should be treated equal regardless of their race, gender, political views, and criminal record. I wouldn't exactly call myself a feminist because this makes women in a way seem that they should be the superior gender, which shouldn't be the case. I go by the idea of karma. Every action that is done will have a reciprocal response to it. If I were to help someone extra after school, the following day I may get a really good grade on a test I took, or maybe if I took $10 dollars from my mom without asking, that afternoon I might ruin my favorite sweater by spilling coffee on it. Every action has a corresponding consequence. Even though this opinion correlates with Buddhism and Hinduism, I still am mostly in agreeance with my catholic religion. These are some of the main guidelines I like to follow when living my life.
